Jujersa Yogashram is situated about 25 Km from the city of Kolkata (previously Calcutta), a metropolitan city to the east of India. The nearest rail station is Howrah/Sealdah. Trains of Eastern/South Eastern divisions of Indian Railway connect Howrah/Sealdah to all cities of India. The nearest Airport is Kolkata International Airport. It is well connected with all major cities of the world by direct flights or through New Delhi the capital of India.

To meet Swamiji at Jujersa Yogashram
Like any devoted sadhaka His day starts at midnight with meditation - a habit taught by Swami Bhabanandaji himself. Swami Sadhanananda Giri Maharaj is an untiring writer in the field of Kriya Yoga & Spirituality. He prepares His speeches for different religious seminars Himself & also prefers to answer the queries from His disciples residing at distant places in His own handwriting. And after all these activities, His constant vigilance continues on all the disciples day & night. However far they be in the physical plane they are always within His purview. His is a strict disciplinarian & follows a routine life.
Swamiji meets devotees only on Saturdays & Sundays and Public holidays.
People coming from different places must inform previously & fix an appointment before hand. People coming from other states of India and also from outside India should inform about their arrival at least two months previously to meet Him. This is only to make sure Swamiji is available at the Ashram. He prefers to give adequate time to a new devotee, answering to all their questions - both in spiritual & material life - in His own words.
Swamiji prefers to speak in Bengali, although He understands English & Hindi very well. Hence, for those not able to talk in Bengali, the Secretary to the Ashram, attends to the talks between the devotee & Swamiji, acting as an interpreter. Hence, prior appointment is must for them.

Direction to reach Jujersa Yogashram
From Esplanade , Kolkata
i) By Calcutta Tram Company (CTC) Bus : Board Esplanade - Amta or Esplanade-Ranihati CTC bus. Drop at Dhulagorh (approx. 20Km, 60 minutes). Dhulagore is situated on National Highway 6 (Mumbai Road). It is a four point crossing. The road towards left goes to Sankrail Railway Station (2Km) & the road towards right goes to Jujersa (5.6Km). There is a big Cement factory of Gujrat Ambuja group at the left side of the Dhulagore crossing which will help you to determine the place. We will place photographs of these places shortly.
From Dhulagore, board Howrah-Jujersa mini bus & it will directly take you to Jujersa - Manikpeertola (approx. 5.6 KM, 20 minutes). The Ashram is opposite Manikpeertola - the Samadhi of a Muslim fakir.
ii) By Car : If you are coming from central Kolkata or south Kolkata, it is better to go through the 2nd Hooghly Bridge (Vidyasagar Setu). From the toll plaza of the bridge, which is on the Howrah side, take Kona Expressway and go straight for eight Km. It will meet Mumbai Road (National Highway No. 6). The meeting point of the Kona Expressway with Mumbai Road has a big fly over. Take left lane to enter into Mumbai Road and go straight towards Uluberia for 8 Km to reach Dhulagore. From Dhulagore, take right turn leaving Mumbai Road. Go to Jujersa - Manikpeertola (approx. 5.6 Km). It takes about 60 minutes from Esplanade Tram Depot/Curzon Park. The Ashram is opposite to Manikpeertola - the Samadhi of a Muslim fakir.

Now frequent shuttle private buses run between this place & Dhulagore.
From Howrah Station
Take South Eastern Railway local train to reach (trains usually start from platform no. 12/13/14/15)
i) Mourigram Railway Station - (12 Km, 5th station from Howrah, 25 minutes). Take Howrah-Jujersa mini bus & it will directly take you to Jujersa-Manikpeertola (approx. 11 KM, 30 minutes)
or,
ii) Sankrail Railway Station - (17 Km, 7th station from Howrah, 30 minutes). Take local buses or trekker/jeep service to reach Jujersa - Manikpeertola (approx. 8 KM, 30 minutes)
From Bus-stand beside Howrah Railway Station
Board Howrah-Jujersa mini bus & it will directly take you to Jujersa-Manikpeertola (approx. 1 Hr 30 min.)
